Deputy Mayor Trivić received the delegation of Lower Silesia from Poland

Deputy Mayor of Sarajevo, Milan Trivić, received today the delegation of the Regional Parliament of Lower Silesia from Poland which was on a three-day official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, they discussed the strengthening of ties and establishing specific business contacts and cooperation to the mutual benefit of the regional development, economy, town planning, education, culture.

Particular emphasis was given to the exchange of experiences in the use of EU pre-accession funds and the support of Poland to our country on its way to EU integration.

After the meeting, the Parliamentary Delegation from Lower Silesia was given a tour of the premises of the Sarajevo Information Centre on the ICTY.

 

The Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka received General Major Martin Dorfer, the commander of EUFOR

Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka received General Major Martin Dorfer, commander of European Military Forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina (EUFOR) at the City Hall today. During the meeting, Skaka and Dorfer agreed that peaceful and safe environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its capital city was the foundation for progress and development.

Mayor Skaka stressed that the European Union military mission to BiH greatly contributes to stabilization and progress. They expressed their hope that the relations will remain at same high level in the forthcoming period.

The newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain Jose Maria Valdemoro Gimenez paid an introductory visit to the Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka

The Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka received today the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain Jose Maria Valdemoro Gimenez, welcoming him and wishing him a successful mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador Gimenez expressed the support of Spain to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the process of Euro Atlantic integration.

They discussed the process of reforms in BiH on the road to integration into the EU and NATO, and agreed that peace and stability are the main prerequisites for economic and all other development.

Mayor Skaka highlighted the special relations that Sarajevo has with cities of Barcelona and Madrid.

After the meeting, Ambassador Gimenez visited the premises of the Sarajevo Information Centre on the ICTY.
